Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME) Mentoring Opportunity
Is there someone in your life who has helped you get to where you are today? Imagine a day when every Australian student has access to the same support and educational opportunities you’ve had. Imagine when, at a university with more than 50,000 enrolled students, there will be hundreds of Indigenous students walking with you as you go through uni.
AIME (Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience) gives Monash students the opportunity to be a part of the educational wave of change sweeping Australia. AIME’s structured mentoring program partners university students with local Indigenous high school students in a creative and exciting program.
All Monash students are encouraged to apply to be Mentors. It’s a fun, challenging and rewarding experience that will have major benefits for you without a major time commitment.
AIME wants to create an Australia where for every step forward that you take in life you put a hand back and bring someone with you. We hope that you jump at the opportunity to become an AIME Mentor and embody this idea.
